  2. santana dharma is not a religion in that sense, it is what the “neo-intellectuals” of the British raj called it. There were lot of folk religions, that was very vibrant , tolerant and secular. then came the Bhakti movement that kind of eulogized vishnu along with Brahma and shiva side tracking the nature worshiping ethno-religions. These ritual practises and belief was gradually — Hinduized. the concept of Hindu from the British who had christians, muslims and all others were classified as Hindu’s.
    Coming to Bali, it was part of the great Sri Vijaya temples.
    If you refer to the 2004 SEASRS academic papers you will find academic papers of what I have shared.

      Islam came to this region and this people reverted as they pleased, not by force or terror. That’s is why those artifacts and archeological evidences still intact in S.E.A regions. There is majority of Hindu people of Balinese in Bali’s Island, indicated that if terror was used to force Islam, there no more Balinese Hindu in this region. Apart of Hindu, Balinese people speak in Malay/Java, dress in Java/Malay traditional costumes, have a cuisines of Java/Malay… Please don’t jump into conclusion of terrorism force used to convert Hindu into Islam.

  12. Can you please put in some realistic fact based numbers . 5000 Years ??? I know many will believe it. Please check the history time lines of India and global history.
    500 meters water level rise? are you talking about the end of ice age? I believe you are a bit too generous with zeros. But the zeros definitely make the facts sound more interesting. And it is not common in India to say that our history is thousands of years old, someone will believe even if you would have said 50,000 years…lets be realistic. When do you data the epic age ?

    • Between 14th to 20th century world conquest, European historians/indologist, after looting & destroying many ancient civilizations, deliberately Pre-dates world history to fix it as per their Colonization Plan of World formed around 4000 BCE and human civilization started 2500 years ago in Gulf/Europe (as ABrahmic traditions)……They PRE-dated every major world events/heritage after 0 AD…and propogated same lies in history/literature books by spending billions of dolalrs worldwide till date!

  13. I wont comment about the rest of the things said here but a rise in sea levels by 500m is unreal. Land masses rise and fall during tectonic movements resulting in existing cities sinking, but what is proposed here is untrue.

    I believe in santana dharma and wants the dharma I resurrected to its earlier glorious days. If this is greed, at least I desire that it’s prrsent rapid erosion be prevented.

    Donnot believe on idols,statues and idols are mean for earning money.God is only one and is living. Nobody can see God and God will never die.No one can make a statue or idol of God.Those things found under water it is the statues of great kings and warriors of olden days.

    Paul M Turley, the owner of Sea Rovers Dive Center in Pemuteran, Bali, told the Jakarta Globe that the temple site did in fact exist but that the location, named Taman Pura (Temple Garden) was created five years ago.(2005)

    Koi bhi angle se yeh vishnu ka temple nahi lag raha hai, agar aap statue ko dekhoge toh tabhi pata chalega ki yeh lord buddha ki murti hai. Picheka background bhi buddhism type ka ha. Iska matlab buddha janam 5000 saal pahle ek bar hua tha aur dusra janam 2600 saal pahle whow… 🙂
    Friends kab tak bewakuf bante rahoge thoda dhyan se dekho ye vishnu nahi Buddha ka statue hai.

  37. Buddhism and Hinduism are fused into one religion in Bali. These temples are not 5000 years old… Hinduism arrived much, much, much later in Bali. Probably around 1200 years ago. Also these temples were made in 2005. It says as much at the end of the video you have posted.

  42. Indonesia was all Hindus at one time..But when the 3rd Abrahmanic religion I…. overtook Indonesia the Hindus were driven out to Bali.So the strongest and the devout Hindus fled to Bali.So that is why Bali remains a Hindu island.
    Also Indonesia believes in Panchasila,they are moderate Muslims,but sadly Wahhabism is slowly taking over Indonesia and Malaysia.

  44. The Hindu or.more correctly Sanatan dharma culture is the oldest and also the most scientific .Science is the quest into the external and spirituality is the inner quest.
    The microcosm (internal world) and macrocosm (external universe) are identical therefore reĺigion should not and will not contradict science if it is true.
    The truths in the Vedas have been borne out by the greatest scientists of the modern world like Heisenberg ,Enstien etc who were inspired in their scientific endeavours by the truths in the ancient vedic scriptures because they contain absolute truth.
    The absolute truth is that which is true in the beginning middle and the end .It is not relative so that its veracity dwindles with time.
    Similarly the Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion) will be true for eternity .It has no beginning so it has no end .Every other religion has a beginning and so it will have an end.It is the only religion which does not seek converts but asks others to follow its tenets to better at following their own religion.It has a vast diversity of tenets to suit the temperament of every type of human not like other religions who have one prophet one book and one path.Just like at a feast the host prepares many types.of food to.suit the tastes of the different types of people so is the hindu beleifs with its vast variety of paths to the divine ,from the basic levels of worship to the lofty heights of Advaita Vedanta.
