~ How to Wear/Drape Indian Sari/Saree

Saree/Sari is a traditional wear of Indian women which is 6 yards (around 5.5m) and 9 yards long (around 8.2m) in some cases. It comes in different patterns and materials. There are more than 50 types of saris listed.

Not only the type of sarees, even the style of sarees is diverse across the country. The pattern in which Sari is worn differs as per the state and at times as per the community within the same state.

Some of the renowned types of Saris in India are: Paithani, Banarasi, Kanchipuram, Kantha, Sambalpuri, Kosa, Bandhani
