~ Mangalyaan: India successfully reached planet Mars in First Attempt!

Today India became first country in the world to reach red planet- Mars in FIRST ATTEMPT using all indigenously developed space technology that to most cost effective Mars space programme in human history (just $ 72 M, less than many Hollywood movie budget!) and 4th country to joined limited Mars mission elite club after USA,Russia & EU agency (SEE full clip after picture gallery below).

After successful Moon safari mission, chandrayan-1, which discovered WATER (see clip after picture gallery) on  moon, Indian scientist now sent Mangalyaan – to undrstand planet Mars.

Mangalyan i.e. Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), started on 5th Nov 2013 and successfully reached red planet mars today 24th Sept,2014.

Mangalyan is developed by Indian scientist in record only 18 months  time compare (see gallery for comparision) to NASA-USA’s MAVEN mars mission in 5 years (which reached yesterday to Mars).

Mangalyaan will collect various data to check – Methane, water, ice, other minerals , colour pictures & clips, whether/storm reports, various other scientific information  and map of Mars by revolving around it for next few years..

Watch this space later today for first Mars picture taken by Mangalyan…within next 4-5 hours ISRO will release first Indian picture of Mars!!

      Sceintist which are neglected in our society…Mangalyaan suddenly made them heros!!
      Good to see people realised importance of innovation , R&D & indegenious product development for india’s future..

      Also, this will inspire many to take science n tech devlopment careers!
