FYI, there are different  types of Spices mixes used according to type of food / Regions in India, but following Garam Masala Mix is prepared and used in daily cooking.; which is generally low spicy and oily but gives traditional taste and aroma to your Indian curry.

Prepare Garam Masala as per recipes below and store in dry seal-tight bottle (shelf life- about 4-5 moths) for future cooking usage.  First understand what Indian spice Box contains and then recipe of spices mix (Garam Masala, chaat masala and Chai Masala) by mixing these ingredients in proper proportion.
